New Years' List How To

Hey there! Hope I got you inspired and, counting on that I thought I'd finish the job by offering some sort of guide. A high school teacher I learned a lot from showed us this method and I find it quite effective if you're disciplined.

First you actually decide your wish list and write (I repeat WRITE) it down.

Next you decide a realistic deadline. You then divide the job so that it's easier to do and doesn't appear so impossible nor far away. The important thing though is to decide to do it during a specific day and during a specific time. And I mean tuesday 4:oo pm to 5:00 pm. I am personally a big agenda fan and highly recommend them.

For example, I have a sheet where I write what I want and what I'm doing about it. My goals range from keeping the house clean, keeping up at school, pampering my Maridito and staying healthy. Belle Fille is of course a 24 hours job/privilege so I can't give her a schedual besides her morning nap. I keep her close most of the time.

Let's continue, so those are my goals. I arrange my schedual in this manner:

Monday -excercise for a minimum 30 minutes (during babys' morning nap)
-sweep, mop
-wash my hubbys' and my clothes

Tuesday -wash baby clothes
-undust the house
-study japanese

You get the idea

I give my amado (loved one, my husband) a little detail each two weeks aproximately. It doesn't have to be big or expensive, but I like to remind him I love him in the midst of everything. I do do more things around the house like play with Belle Fille or cook/try to cook, or just hang around with my amado watching TV (ahem, long live The Big Bang Theory) but what's on my agenda is the minimum, a must do.

Anyway, you put the activities in your agenda (or napkin, just don't loose it) and mark them off as you do them. If you're disciplined by the end of the week you'll have gotten most done and if you keep it up, you'll have accomplished your goal before you know it.

Discipline is extremely important. It's the only way to go.

G'luck!
